Mrs. Jannie Hanna
My name is Jannie Hanna and I’m excited to be the3/4th grade Teacher at Holy Rosary Catholic School! I student taught in a 5th Grade Classroom at Denmark Elementary School. I spent 3 years in the Denmark School District. I began working as an AVID tutor in the 2016-2017 school year at the high school and then later transitioned to being an ELL Para for the district before student teaching and subbing in Denmark.
I graduated from UW-Green Bay in December 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Human Development and two minors in Teaching English as a Second Language and Psychology. My licensure level is for ages 0-12/13. I have some background in the Spanish Language. I was in Spanish all 4 years of high-school and then studied it for 1 year in college. I enjoy learning about other cultures as well as languages and customs of other cultures.
I grew up in Casco with my parents Mickal and Cindy Boulanger, and attended Luxemburg-Casco School District where I later graduated in 2011. I have 1 younger brother, 2 older brothers, and 1 older sister. One of my brothers has a rare disability ( 5P- Syndrome also known as Cri-du-Chat) that I am passionate about. I enjoy working with individuals of all ability levels.
I married my husband Tyler Hanna on June 17, 2017. We currently live in Luxemburg with our one cat named Snickers. We named her Snickers because she has lots of light brown and black markings. To us it looks like the colors of a Snickers candy bar. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, going for walks, playing my guitar, as well as brushing up and refining my Spanish skills. My goal is to one day become more fluent in Spanish than I am now.
